This allows easy verification of the proper wiring order. Applications with RF problems or grounding requirements usually specify to use shielded cable and shielded connectors. These connectors are for use with Cat 5e and Cat 6 shielded cable, and work with solid round or stranded wire cables with maximum cable outer diameter of 0.280‚ (7.11mm) and maximum insulation diameter (conductors) of 0.040‚ (1.016mm).
